i'm building a bike from scratch and i did my first bottom bracket today. i pulled it off of the busted steel schwinn that i bought from the guy on staten island. i'm moving everything over that i can, namely: handlebars, brakes, cranks, seat and chain. there's something immensely satisfying about scrubbing all the rust and greasy gunk off of bike parts.
